Welcome to Mani Me. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our parcel delivery services, website, and mobile application. By using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Definitions
- "Mani Me," "we," "our," "us" refers to Mani Me Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales.
- "Services" refers to our parcel delivery services from the UK to Ghana, including pickup, shipping, customs clearance, and delivery.
- "User," "you," "your" refers to any person who uses our services or accesses our platform.
- "Parcel" refers to any package, goods, or items shipped through our service.
2. Service Description
Mani Me provides parcel delivery services from the United Kingdom to Ghana. Our services include:
- Door-to-door parcel collection in the UK
- International shipping to Ghana
- Customs clearance and documentation
- Final mile delivery within Ghana
- Real-time tracking and notifications
3. Account Registration
To use our services, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
4. Prohibited Items
You may NOT ship the following items:
- Illegal drugs and narcotics
- Weapons, firearms, and ammunition
- Explosives and flammable materials
- Counterfeit goods and pirated materials
- Live animals
- Perishable food items (without proper packaging)
- Human remains or body parts
- Currency, cash, or negotiable instruments
- Items prohibited by UK or Ghana customs regulations
We reserve the right to refuse, open, inspect, or return any parcel suspected of containing prohibited items.
5. Pricing and Payment
5.1 Pricing
- Prices are displayed in GBP (British Pounds)
- Prices are based on parcel size, weight, and contents
- All prices include standard customs clearance fees
- Additional charges may apply for oversized items or special handling
5.2 Payment
- Payment is required at the time of booking
- We accept credit/debit cards via Stripe
- All payments are processed securely
5.3 Customs Duties
All customs duties and taxes for parcels delivered to Ghana are covered by Mani Me and included in your shipping fee. Recipients will not be required to pay any additional customs charges upon delivery.
6. Pickup and Delivery
6.1 Pickup
- Parcels must be ready for collection at the scheduled time
- All items must be properly packaged and labeled
- We reserve the right to reschedule if the parcel is not ready
6.2 Delivery Times
- Standard delivery: 4-5 weeks from pickup
- Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed
- Delays may occur due to customs, weather, or other factors beyond our control
6.3 Delivery Attempts
- We will make up to 3 delivery attempts
- If delivery cannot be completed, the parcel will be held at our Ghana facility
- Unclaimed parcels may be returned or disposed of after 30 days
7. Insurance and Liability
7.1 Standard Coverage
All shipments include basic coverage of up to £100 per parcel for loss or damage.
7.2 Limitations
We are NOT liable for:
- Loss or damage caused by inadequate packaging
- Delays due to customs inspections or clearance
- Delays caused by incorrect address information
- Natural disasters, strikes, or force majeure events
- Consequential or indirect losses
7.3 Claims
Claims for loss or damage must be submitted within 14 days of expected delivery date. Claims require proof of value and photographic evidence of damage.
8. Cancellation and Refunds
- Before Pickup: Full refund available
- After Pickup: No refund available once parcel is collected
- Failed Delivery: No refund for failed delivery due to incorrect address or recipient unavailability
Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days.
9. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate sender and recipient information
- Properly package all items to withstand transit
- Accurately declare parcel contents and value
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
- Not use our services for illegal purposes
10. Intellectual Property
All content on our website and app, including logos, text, graphics, and software, is the property of Mani Me and protected by copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our permission.
11. Privacy
Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.
12. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you:
- Violate these Terms
- Engage in fraudulent activity
- Provide false information
- Abuse our services or staff
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
